Zettlr's brand and icons are excluded from the software GPL license. The official policy permits logo use for reviews, comparisons, tutorials and links to the official project without further written approval. Boloop's recommendation links to the official repository and identifies that software only.

Preserve original colors, dimensions/proportions and design. Do not imply endorsement or affiliation, use the logo as another product identity, or modify its design. Follow the official policy's excluded-context restrictions, including unsuitable adult content, attacks on protected or minority groups, hate speech, unlawful content, violence, specified political promotion and defamation. The source file is unchanged. A PNG used by the website may be a controlled rendering of the original, with no design changes. No blanket trademark rights are claimed.
