TYPE TIDE — Give words a rhythm
Type a short phrase and set it in a wave or a breathing pulse. An acid-yellow canvas, oversized letters and live controls make typography playable.

The words are the image
TYPE TIDE is an original kinetic typography experiment made by Tink / Boloop. Most of the screen belongs to the letters, with high contrast, a two-line composition and individual character motion setting the rhythm.
Try it
Enter up to 32 characters in Your words to update the composition. Wave offsets the letters, Pulse stretches them rhythmically, and Still returns to a static arrangement. Energy changes the motion strength. Pause motion freezes the current state. Your text stays in the browser.
Making and scope
Built with HTML, CSS and JavaScript using the project's existing licensed local fonts. The case image is an actual screenshot. This is an interactive type experiment, with no accounts, cloud saving or video export.
